Hyderabad, June 10, 2026: Anugnya Holistic Care, an integrative cancer support initiative founded by cancer survivors and caregivers, was launched at a press conference held at FTCCI, Hyderabad on Wednesday.
Speaking on the occasion, founder and cancer survivor Sangeeta Bhalla said that while modern medicine effectively treats cancer, patients often struggle with fatigue, pain, anxiety, neuropathy, and emotional distress during and after treatment.
She emphasized the need for holistic and patient-centric care by combining conventional treatment with evidence-based complementary therapies to improve quality of life and recovery.
Co-founder Viiveck Verma said the initiative was inspired by the challenges faced by patients and caregivers during long cancer treatment journeys. He highlighted the importance of addressing caregiver burnout and providing emotional support to families.
Anugnya Holistic Care offers online meditation sessions, healing protocols, aromatherapy support, peer-support groups, patient progress tracking, and access to trained healers and healthcare professionals.
The founders clarified that the initiative does not replace medical treatment but complements it by helping patients manage treatment-related side effects and improve overall well-being.
Anugnya aims to make integrative cancer support accessible to cancer patients and caregivers across India through its remote and community-based care model.
