First ever Electric Vehicle’s Trade Expo in Hyderabad


Hyderabad, 30th September 2021: A three day EV (Electric Vehicles) Trade Expo, the first ever EV trade expo is proposed to bring all the stake holders under one platform. The event is organized by The Trade Show Company in association with Telangana State Government is being organized from 8 th October 2021 to 10 th October 2021 at Hitex, Hyderabad. Major

Electric Vehicle manufacturers and allied industries will participate in the exhibition that is being held for first time in Hyderabad. The EV Trade Expo 2021 is designed as one of the electric vehicles expos in South India offering competitive and comprehensive market information and business opportunities of the networking platform.

In order to reveal the details, a press conference is organized today at The Park Hotel, Hyderabad. Sri VC Gopalakrishna, Director – Automotive, Industries Department, Telangana along with Sri Manoj Patwardan, Partner, The Tradeshow Company has participated in the press conference.

At the beginning briefing about the Expo Sri Manoj Patwardan, Partner, The Trade Show Company has said that the expo is organized to bring in the latest technology of electric vehicles by the auto manufacturing industry to showcase their latest innovations of electric vehicles Components, accessories, and services for convenience and environmental friendly for passengers and the transport industry. This Expo will ensure that the right national

and international manufacturer would exhibit their latest technology and products the electric vehicle industry in India is a growing industry, he added. The central and state governments have launched schemes and incentives to promote electric mobility in the country, the expo would be one more step in achieving these goals, he said.

While revealing the details about participants in expo, Sri Manoj Patwardhan has said that more than 20 companies have already agreed and more will join. He also explained that apart from vehicle manufacturers several other auxiliary units such as charging devise manufacturers, APP developers and other related companies are also is part of the expo.

Later speaking on the occasion, Sri Sivuni Babu, Management Consultant, The Trade Show Company has explained that EV Trade Expo is full fledge event and 100% Electric Vehicle trade show with a mission to create awareness to every individual and is fully dedicated to the electric vehicle industry in India "Environment friendly" which are key to the electric vehicle industry as envisioned by Government of India. Electric Vehicles, we can achieve reduction in carbon emissions, he added.

Finally speaking on the occasion, Sri VC Gopala Krishnan, Director – Automotive, Industries Department, Telangana Government has explained that Since the formation of the State in 2014, Telangana has transformed into a power surplus state from being a power deficit state in less than 5 years and is among the top states in the country in the renewable energy production. As the state drives the faster adoption of Electric Vehicles, it aspires to be not just self-sufficient, but also a global hub for Electric Vehicles’ and Energy Storage Systems’

Manufacturing. It is our vision to become the most electrified state in the country, he added. While explaining that the Telangana Electric Vehicle and Energy Storage Policy 2020-2030 is the first step in this direction, Sri Gopalakrishnan has said that the policy also intends to achieve substantial reduction in total cost of transportation for personal and commercial purposes.

Further elaborating on the sector, Sri Gopalakrishnan has said that the State is home to several players in the EV sector and intends to leverage its strengths in Automotive, Electronics, Aerospace, Defence and Information Technology Sectors, creating synergies and thereby becoming a centre for research and innovation in Electric Vehicles, Battery Technologies and other Emerging Technologies such as Autonomous & Connected Vehicles.
