2 nd February, 2023, Hyderabad: The 50th Annual National IAPSM Conference, “Introspection And Innovation In Public Health; One Health One Planet ”, conducted by Department of Community and Family Medicine, AIIMS BIBINAGAR under the leadership of Prof.(Dr) Neeraj Agarwal and Esteemed guidance of Prof.(Dr)Vikas Bhatia from 2nd February 2023 to 4th February 2023 in collaboration with National Institute of Nutrition, ICMR,HYD.
The program was inaugurated by chief guest Dr. (Smt.) Tamilisai Soundararajan Hon’ble Governor of Telangana and Hon’ble Lt Governor of Puducherry in the presence of Prof.(Dr)Vikas Bhatia, Executive Director,AIIMS Bibinagar, Dr.Hemalatha R, Director, ICMR-NIN, Dr. A M Kadri, President Elect, IAPSM, Dr. Purushottam Giri Secretary General, IAPSM ,which is attended by its members in professionals who are interested in the field of Community Medicine and Family Medicine or it allied speciality.
In today's sessions presenters focussed on The current health challenges of the nation like Anaemia, Kala Azar, lymphatic filariasis, Non Communicable Diseases, introspection in health surveillance and innovations in public health . It was an Academic feast where many oral and poster research papers were presented. Also various seminars, panel discussions are organized to disseminate the newer information in topic related with Community Health. Members discussed and deliberated various issues. Budding specialists in the discipline have gained knowledge about recent and important happenings in the field while deliberations from the conference were guiding to the various stakeholders who are working in specific areas of the Community Medicine.
