Zydus Pinkathon Draws 5,000 Women Runners in Hyderabad

Hyderabad, February 15, 2026:: The sixth edition of the Zydus Pinkathon was held on Sunday morning at People’s Plaza, Necklace Road, with great enthusiasm. Nearly 5,000 women participated, reflecting the growing fitness awareness among women in the city.


The event began at 5:30 AM with categories including 3K, 5K, 10K, and ultra-distance runs. Participants included first-time runners, working professionals, senior citizens, and experienced athletes.


Under the “Invincible Women” platform, ultra categories of 50K, 75K, 100K, and 100K relay were conducted. The event highlighted the rising interest of Indian women in ultra-running.


Winners:

3K – Amala Kalapala (19:10)

5K – Mounika Kalapala (27:32)

10K – Vadde Navya (49:59)


Founder Milind Soman praised the enthusiasm of Hyderabad women and encouraged fitness as a lifestyle choice.


Invincible Women Founder Ankita Konwar said more women are increasing their running distances every year and adopting fitness as a way of life.


Dr. Keyur Parekh, President – Biologics, Zydus Lifesciences, reaffirmed the company’s commitment to women’s health. He highlighted the “Easiest Exam” awareness campaign on breast cancer prevention and early detection.


The event was supported by the Telangana Government. Partners included Lotus Herbals, Lifelong, Sirona, Park Hyatt, Fujifilm, and Bisleri. Fit India and the Sports Authority of India also extended support.
