Osman (USA); Renowned International Spine Surgeon & Father of “ Full Endoscopic Spine Surgery” that is a revolutionary treatment for acute Low back pain Patients.
"Endoscopic technology has now most advanced to the point where surgeons can now access, visualize, and treat 'Spine' problems better previously accessible only through open surgeries. Endoscopic Spine Surgeries now have revolutionized the spine treatment to the next level of minimally invasive spine surgeries today benefitting and giving a new lease of life to the patients suffering from Spinal problems reducing the risk to minimal levels. It provides patients with quicker recovery, less hospital stay and less pain making it more efficient and affordable" said Dr. G. S. Rao; MD; Yashoda Hospitals group.
Speaking on this occasion, Dr. Sukumar Sura; Senior Spine Surgeon; Yashoda Hospitals said "There are two surgical options in treating a disc prolapse. One is a traditional open microsurgery. Here a large incision is made in the patient’s back. The muscles of the back are retracted and some bone is also removed. This will expose the nerves and once they are retracted the disc prolapse is exposed. Then the prolapsed disc material is removed, and the neural tissue is adequately decompressed. This will result in a large scar, significant muscle damage and sometimes instability due to excess bone removal. Since the neural tissue is retracted some amount of damage to the nerve is a distinct possibility.
