Sri Adil Zainulbhai shed light on "how technology works" in his convocation address. How technology has aided in the acceleration of development in India and how technology has disrupted the Indian fintech arena. We used to look for technology from the United States or other countries outside of India ten years ago. However, in recent years, India has outpaced all other countries in terms of digital infrastructure, such as Aadhar and UPI.
The success of Aadhar and UPI is spurring the development of gleaming new public digital infrastructure with the potential for new development, such as population scale systems and startup eco-systems.
Since the digital ecosystem is available everywhere, approximately 800 million people have registered on the Co-Win platform. After 25 years of broadband and wireless, 85% of the US population has access to fast broadband. However, in five years, India's 5G penetration could reach 99%. It will be quicker than the United States, Europe, and other countries.
Sri Adil Zainulbhai ended his speech by the key message " This is the great time to be young and graduating in India. The opportunities you have in any field you choose are phenomenal, but the opportunities to make a difference in the country are even greater."
I encourage you to consider how you can make a difference in the country in addition to how you can succeed in your own life.
