Sailing Regatta Finals Held at Hussain Sagar Lake

Hyderabad, July 30, 2025 – The finals of the multi-day Sailing Regatta at Hussain Sagar Lake concluded today with high-energy races and impressive performances from India's top young sailors. The event featured one final race across all categories and three races for the Optimist Green Fleet, wrapping up a spirited week of competition.

The closing ceremony was attended by Honourable Governor of Telangana, Shri Jishnu Dev Varma, along with Lt Gen Neeraj Varshney, VSM, Commandant, MCEME, Mr. Arjun Pradipak, Commodore (Sailing), Capt Jitendra Dixit, Secretary (YAI), Mr. Srinivas Kylasa, President, Secunderabad Club, Mr. Ashwin Nandan Singh, Vice President, and Mr. Raja Jain, Tiscon.

Hon’ble Governor Shri Jishnu Dev Varma remarked:
