Rahul Gandhi’s Bus Yatra to Jadcherla constituency has become a grand success as thousands of people gathered at the corner meeting held at Ambedkar Junction at Signalgadda in Jadcherla on Wednesday.
Lambasting the BRS party and its atrocious governance for the past 9 years in Telangana, congress AICC leader and former congress president Rahul Gandhi, during his Bus Yatra, alleged that Telangana Chief Minister KCR has miserably failed to meet the aspirants of the youth, women folks and farmers in the state.
Rahul Gandhi alleged that KCR has looted Rs. 1 lakh crore of Telangana people’s tax money in the name of Irrigation projects and canals which are constructed with low-quality material and minted money in the form of commissions from the contractors causing grave damage to the future people and farmers in particular.
Earlier, Rahul Gandhi who was expected to visit Jadcherla Signal Gadda junction at 4 o clock in the evening but reached at 5 pm by that time huge number of the public gathered to take a glimpse of the Gandhi Scion. On his way to Jadcherla, from Kalwakurthy, Rahul Gandhi made a brief halt at Gangapur village and sipped tea, at a local tea stall and interacted with the locals.
Giving hope to the people, particularly to the women folks Rahul Gandhi said that if the Congress party is voted to power, he promised that every woman in the household will get a cooking gas cylinder at just Rs. 500, free bus travel to women folks, Rs. 2500 to every women as financial assistance per month. He also stressed that the farmers will get financial aid of Rs. 15,000 per acre twice in a year and a host of other benefits and development programs.
Rahul Gandhi urged the people to vote for Congress's hand symbol and dethrone the corrupt and arrogant BRS party from power.
Congress constituency assembly contestant Anirudh Reddy, TPCC President Revanth Reddy, former TPCC President Uttam Kumar Reddy, Congress Legislature Party leader Bhatti Vikramarka and other senior leaders accompanied Rahul Gandhi. The Congress leaders appraised Anirudh Reddy for making the corner meeting a grand success with a huge gathering of the public patting him for victory in Jadhcerla and conveyed the best of luck for the upcoming elections.
