Hyderabad, 19th June 2024 : Vivek Vardhini Kanyashala, established in the year of 1916 also has a rich legacy of 108 years. The founders had a vision to establish a school exclusively for girls, even during the pre – independence era. Centenary function of the school was celebrated on 7th July 2015 with Smt. Sumitra Mahajan, Lok Sabha Speaker as the chief guest.
NCERT Additional Director G.Ramesh inaugurated the newly constructed classrooms for the primary section at Vivek Vardini Kanya Gowliguda, Hyderabad on Wednesday. On this occasion, he said that Vivek Vardhini Kanya Shala Primary School has a great reputation and many people who have studied here are in great position. Construction of classrooms in the school as part of the social service programs of Technip FMC is a great thing and the education department is thankful.
Technip FMC MD Arjun Rumala said that he is happy to have the opportunity to build classrooms for the education of students in a school that has completed 100 years. They said that they will provide assistance on behalf of their organization in the coming days as well. On this occasion, he handed over school bags to 200 students.
The school classrooms were constructed under the joint auspices of Technip FMC, Hand in Hand India.
