Mr Anadkat Kartavya from Gujarat is the Champion of Slan First International Open FIDE Rated Chess


Hyderabad 27 July 2023: Slan First International Open FIDE Rated Chess Tournament 2023 conducted 21st July to 25th July 2023 at SRI Kotla Vijaya Bhaskar Reddy Indoor Stadium Yousufguda, Hyderabad, Telangana. In the final round Anadkat Kartavya Beat IM Krishna Teja N and He scored 8 ½ Points out of 9 Rounds.


There are three Players tied with 8 points for Second Place, between Anuj Shrivatri, Ramnathan Balasubramaniam and Lad Mandar Pradip, due to the better tie break score Anuj Shrivatri, Ramnathan Balasubramaniam and Lad Mandar Pradip are 2nd , 3rd & 4th Placed respectively.


Winner Anuj Shrivatri awarded with the trophy and cash prize of Rs. 1,00,000/-.

1st Runner up Anuj Shrivatri received 60,000/- cash prize with Trophy and 2nd Runner up Ramnathan Balasubramaniam with cash prize Rs. 40,000/- along with Trophy. The total Prize Fund of the Tournament was Rs. 10,00,000/- distributed among 97 prize winners.


The event attracted 525 players, participated 7 Federation Players including India (India, USA, Bangladesh, England, Switzerland, Kenya, Cypris, Total 331 FIDE rated (Including 4 IM & One FM), from all over India.
