“The Father of OBE” is the Founder & CEO of IN4OBE.
He has spear headed OBE initiatives for the last five decades across the globe and is
recognized as a world-wide pioneer on future-focused, paradigmshifting, personally-
empowering approaches to Transformational OBE. Its office is located in Florida, USA.
The Lords Institute of Engineering and Technology, Hyderabad after being conferred
autonomous status by University Grants Commission (UGC) for next 10 years; accredited
with ‘A’ Grade and extended for 5 years by National Assessment and Accreditation Council
(NAAC); accredited by National Board of Accreditation (NBA) three times consecutively;
laboratories accredited by National Accreditation Board for Testing and Calibration
Laboratories (NABL) for industrial consultancy; etc. the Chairman of the Institution, Shri. CA
Basha Mohiuddin with a vision of transforming it into a university is focusing on Outcome
Based Education for the betterment of Education Quality and benefit of students for their
careers. He has taken the initiative of starting the Telangana Chapter of IN4OBE in-line with
the National Education Policy (NEP), National Innovation and Startup Policy (NISP) and
other new policies of the Central and State Governments.
The Office of Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC), Lords Institute of Engineering and
Technology has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with IN4OBE to start the
Telangana Chapter (first in India). The objective of this collaboration is to bring the
transformational promise, mission, and practice of authentic OBE to the higher and basic
educational institutions across the region.
The launch of IN4OBE Telangana Chapter witnessed the presence of Prof. William Spady,
Founder & CEO, IN4OBE; Shri. Boinpally Vinod Kumar, Vice Chairman, Telangana
State Planning Commission; Prof. Anil Sahasrabudhe, Chairman, All India Council for
Technical Education (AICTE), Ministry of Education, Govt. of India; Shri. Navin Mittal
IAS, Commissioner of Technical and Collegiate Education, Govt. of Telangana; Prof.
Katta Narasimha Reddy, Vice Chancellor, JNTUH; and Prof. V. Venkata Ramana, Vice
Chairman, Telangana State Council of Higher Education, Govt. of Telangana.
The inaugural ceremony was followed by panel discussion in which Prof. M. P. Poonia, Vice
Chairman AICTE; Shri. V. V. Srinivasa Rao IPS, Director of RBVRR Telangana State Police
Academy; Shri. P. V. Raja Rao IFS, Director of Telangana State Forest Academy; Prof. P.
Laxminarayana, Registrar-Osmania University; Prof. M. Manzoor Hussain, Registrar and
Prof. G. K. Viswanadh, OSD to Vice Chancellor, JNTU Hyderabad will interact with IN4OBE
experts namely: Prof. Alan Rowe (US); Prof. Fong K. Mak (Gannon University, USA); Prof.
Elias Sampa (Australian Institute for Higher Education) and Prof. Wajid Hussain (Islamic
University of Madina, KSA). Directors, Principals, Deans, HODs, Professors, Lecturers,School Teachers and other academics from various parts of the world participated in the
