KIMS Sunshine Hospital Conducts World Kidney Day Awareness Program

Hyderabad, 12th March, 2026: KIMS Sunshine Hospital, Begumpet, organized an awareness programme on World Kidney Day on Thursday. The event was led by Dr. A.V. Gurava Reddy, Chief Robotic Joint Replacement Surgeon and Managing Director of KIMS Sunshine Hospital, along with Dr. A. Bhavani, Chief Consultant Gynecologist.

The programme was inaugurated by cutting a cake along with dialysis patients. Speaking on the occasion, Dr. Gurava Reddy said that everyone should follow a healthy lifestyle to protect kidney health. He stressed the importance of regular health check-ups, controlling diabetes and blood pressure, drinking enough water, and maintaining a balanced diet.

Nephrologists Dr. Anuradha, Dr. Rajesh, and Dr. Kaushik created awareness about kidney diseases and the importance of early detection. The Dietitian Department also explained dietary habits that help maintain good kidney health.

Interactive awareness activities were conducted with dialysis patients to promote better understanding of kidney care and preventive health practices.
