International Chefs Day Celebrated Grandly at Culinary Academy of India, Begumpet, Hyderabad

Hyderabad, October 17, 2025:Healthy food is essential for a good life, said Raja Sadaram, former Secretary to the Government of Telangana. He emphasized that food is an integral part of daily life and creating awareness among children about healthy eating habits is a very positive initiative.
The Culinary Academy of India, Begumpet, Hyderabad, organized the International Chefs Day celebrations with great enthusiasm. The event was graced by Raja Sadaram, former Secretary to the Government of Telangana, Akshay Kulkarni, Head of the Department, Culinary Academy of India, and other faculty members.
As part of the program, awareness sessions were conducted for school children on what type of food to eat and how to maintain a balanced diet. A blood donation camp was also organized on this occasion.
Every year, October 20 is observed as International Chefs Day with a unique theme. This year, the celebrations are being held under the theme “Food is Our X-Factor.”
Speaking on the occasion, Akshay Kulkarni, Head of the Department, Culinary Academy of India, said that the academy aims to educate children on how to prepare healthy meals and understand which foods promote good health. Demonstrations were conducted to show children the preparation of nutritious dishes.
He further emphasized the importance of millets in maintaining good health and said they play a vital role in ensuring a healthy future generation. The main objective of the event, he noted, is to instill the value of healthy eating among children for a healthier tomorrow.
