Mahbubnagar, February 17, 2021: The Indian Association of Lawyers Union (IALU) from Mahbubnagar condemned the broad day light murder of High Court lawyer couples Vaman Rao and his wife Nagamani in the middle of the highway in Manthani of Karimnagar district on Wednesday.
Expressing deep concern over the safety and security of the lawyers and judges, Paramesh Goud, member of IALU district committee from Mahbubnagar said that the brutal murder of the two lawyer couples is condemned and demanded that the culprits who resorted to the heinous crime should not be spared and given tough punishment.
It is learnt that Vaman Rao and his wife Nagamani were going back to their house after attending court proceedings. The perpetrators who were following the couple intercepted their car on a highway in Manthani and later hacked both the couple to death.
Paramesh Goud demanded the state government to immediately increase security to the lawyers and also demanded to introduce judiciary and lawyers protection law in the assembly and help protect the lawyers from such attacks in the future.
