Dr. Kavadi Yellaiah was born on 31st January 1941 in a small village Yenmangandla, Mandal, Nawabpet, District Mahabubnagar, in Telangana. He secured MBBS degree from Gandhi Medical college, Hyderabad. He has distinguished career and he has a commitment for the profession With distinction in administration. He rendered medical services with sense of dedication when he working in Andhra Pradesh Medical and Health services.
He retired on October 1998 in the cadre of Deputy Civil Surgeon. He has a keen interest in literature during his student days. He authored a novel in Telugu "Rajanikanth" when he was a medical student. Some of his English poems were published in the "The other side of Mirror", American Anthology His poems were regularly published in English dailies like Deccan Chronicle, A.P. Times, etc. When he was serving in Medical department "Bulletin of Hospital Services", a monthly magazine was being released by the Commissioner, Andhra Pradesh Vaidya Vidhana Parishad. His English poems were regualry published in "Bulletin of Hospital Services"He authored English poetry books, title “SAVIOUR" and "SALVATION". He also authorized a Telugu Poetry book, titled "JEVARALU".
Bharatiya Dalit Sahithya Academy is a national literary organization in Delhi as Head Quarters. This organization conferred the certificate of excellence and "Babu Jagivan Ram" award in 2017 to Dr. Kavadi Yellaiah. The same organization honored Dr. Kavadi Yellaiah with Dr. Ambedkar Sahithya Shree National Award 2019 in December 2019 at Delhi.
He was Honored with International award by "Influencer Book of World Records” at Jaipur on 08-09-2022. He was also honoured with International literary award by "UKIYOTO" publishing international literary organization. This organization conferred him with the title of "POET OF THE YEAR" in Kolkata on 16th October, 2022.
