Hyderabad December 10th 2022: Sangitanjali Foundation, an organization established with an objective to promote classical music and dance is organizing USTAD BADE GHULAM ALI KHAN NATIONAL FESTIVAL OF MUSIC & DANCE HYDERABAD every year in the memory of India’s greatest musician from Hyderabad. Continuing the tradition this year USTAD BADE GHULAM ALI KHAN NATIONAL FESTIVAL OF MUSIC & DANCE HYDERABAD 2022 is organised from Saturday 10th December to Sunday 11th December (two days) at Bharatiya Vidya Bhawan Auditorium, Kong Koti Road, Basheerbagh, Hyderabad. The program is organized in aid of Children with Autism at Autism Ashram.
During the two day long annual music and dance festival, Padmabhushan Begum Parween Sulthana will perform on day 1 (10th December 2022) and Padma Bhushan Pandit Ajoy Chakrabarty will be performing on day 2 (11th December 2022) at the event that will start from evening 7 PM onwards.
On this occasion, the organizer from Sangitanjali Foundation along with Padma Bhushan Pandit Ajoy Chakrabarty has participated in a media interaction organized at Ravindra Bharathi Auditorium, Hyderabad today.
Revealing the details of the USTAD BADE GHULAM ALI KHAN NATIONAL FESTIVAL OF MUSIC & DANCE HYDERABAD 2022, Sri Abhijit Bhattacharjee, Chairman, Sangitanjali Foundation has explained the idea behind organizing annual festival in the memory of such legendary musician from Hyderabad every year. The objective of Sangitanjali Foundation is to popularize classical dance and music, he added. While achieving its basic objective of promoting classical music and dance, he said that the program is also conducted in aid of children suffering with Autism.
Later speaking at media interaction, Dr Anil Kundra, Founder, Autism Ashram, Hyderabad has appealed to the people to support children suffering with Autism. He asked people to treat those suffering with Autism as normal individuals, kids and treat them on par with others. He urged them to show empathy for the children rather than showing sympathy.
Finally speaking on the program, Padma Bhushan Pandit Ajoy Chakrabarty has remembered the yemon services rendered by Ustad Bhade Ghulam Ali Khan to the classical music world. He appreciated the efforts of organizers and members of Sangitanjaly Foundation to organize such great music and dance festival in the memory of great musician from Hyderabad. While thanking Hyderabadi people for supporting classical music with great fan fare, he hoped in future the tradition will continue.
Later the organizers has informed that they along with musicians participating in the festival will visit Ustad Bhade Ghulam Ali Khan’s mazar to pay homage to departed soul. They appealed to the music lovers of Hyderabad to attend the two day music and dance festival organized in such a brilliant musician from Hyderabad and makes it a grand success.
