Tiranga Ahimsa Car Rally to Bring Together 200+ Cars in Hyderabad on October 2

Hyderabad, September 29, 2026: Hyderabad will witness a unique Tiranga Ahimsa Car Rally on October 2, with over 200 cars and more than 1,200 participants taking part in a 23-km disciplined convoy to mark Gandhi Jayanti, Lal Bahadur Shastri Jayanti, the birthday of 1008 Pujya Acharya Gyanchandra Ji Maharaj Ji and the UN’s International Day of Non-Violence.

Organised by Shri Vardhaman Sthanakvasi Jain Shravak Sangh, Greater Hyderabad – Kachiguda, the rally will begin at 6:30 AM from Jal Vihar, Necklace Road, and pass through Secretariat, Tank Bund, Ranigunj, Paradise, Begumpet, Somajiguda, Raj Bhavan Road, Khairatabad and Lakdi-ka-pul before returning to Jal Vihar.

Participants will carry the Indian Tricolour along with the Jain religious flag. People from different faiths, women, senior citizens and families are expected to participate. As part of a special initiative, orphan children will be offered a “Jolly Ride for Peace” in luxury and vintage cars.

The rally will promote the messages of “Ahimsa Parmo Dharma”, “Live and Let Live”, peace, religious harmony and national unity. The organisers said the broader message of the event is “Nation First, Religion After”.

The organisers have invited Telangana Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy to flag off the rally, with confirmation awaited. Senior police officer Mahesh Bhagwat has consented to be the Chief Guest at the closing ceremony, according to the organisers.

The rally will be conducted with strict traffic and safety discipline, with vehicle documents and driving licences checked. An ambulance will accompany the convoy. There is no participation fee.

Decorated vehicles will compete for prizes, with ₹5,000, ₹3,000 and ₹2,000 awarded for the first three positions, besides seven consolation prizes of ₹1,500 each.
