Hyderabad, October 25, 2024: TechnipFMC has proudly unveiled a newly constructed school in the Chengicherla community, Hyderabad, built entirely from the ground up to accommodate 700 students. This school represents TechnipFMC's largest community outreach initiative to date and was made possible through a partnership with the District Council administration.

With 16 months of dedicated planning and construction, the school features seven fully equipped classrooms, along with essential facilities including drinking water stations, sanitation facilities, furniture, and a PA system, all funded by TechnipFMC. This new educational space will replace a smaller, older school in the area, which will be repurposed to provide expanded resources for local students.

“TechnipFMC’s commitment to the Chengicherla community and other regions goes beyond funding,” said a TechnipFMC spokesperson. “Through our iVolunteers program, we engage directly with students, offering mentoring and inspiration to encourage their interest in STEM and broader academic pursuits.” In 2024 alone, TechnipFMC organized field trips for over 1,000 Hyderabad students to science and history museums and a planetarium, fostering curiosity and educational ambition.

The inauguration was attended by TechnipFMC delegates Anders Dahl, Housila Tiwari, and Arjun Rumalla, as well as representatives from the implementation partner, Hand In Hand India. This school signifies TechnipFMC’s unwavering dedication to community collaboration for advancing education, healthcare, and environmental initiatives across India.
