“Stop DVT & PE Before It Stops You!” – Awareness Campaign Through Vascular Cricket League

Hyderabad, April 4, 2026: The Telangana Society of Vascular and Endovascular Surgeons is organizing a unique awareness campaign on Deep Vein Thrombosis (DVT) and Pulmonary Embolism (PE) in association with the Vascular Cricket League. The event will be held on Saturday, April 4, 2026, at Lakeside League Sports Cafe, Manikonda, Hyderabad.

With the theme “Stop DVT & PE before it stops you!”, the campaign aims to raise public awareness about the risks, prevention, and early detection of life-threatening vascular conditions such as DVT and PE. These conditions often go unnoticed but can have serious consequences if not diagnosed and treated early.

This innovative initiative combines sports and health education, using cricket as a platform to reach a wider audience and encourage proactive health practices among the public. Through this engaging approach, the organizers aim to emphasize the importance of timely medical attention, regular movement, hydration, and awareness of symptoms.

The program is being conducted under the leadership of eminent doctors including Dr. Pinjala Ramakrishna, Dr. Prem Chand Gupta, Dr. Devender Singh, Dr. Vasanth Reddy, Dr. Gnaneshwar, and Dr. Nihar Ranjan Pradhan.
