Shyam Steel India launches retail business in South

Hyderabad, 6 th March, 2021: Shyam Steel India, one of the leading primary steel producers

launches its retail business in South with Telengana & Andhra Pradesh. The company will

sell Fe 550 TMT Rebars in these two states. With this expansion, the retail footprint of the

company got stronger and more promising.

Shri Pocharam Srinivas Reddy, Honorable Speaker of the Telengana Legislative Assembly, Shri Vinay Agrawal, Senior VP, Shyam Steel India, Shri Shyam Sundar Bansal, Shri Niraj Bansal and Shri Anand Gowri Setty, Mentor and Directors of Astik Suppliers were present for the grand launch today. The company is going to partner with hundreds of retailers to maximize the reach of the brand to the remotest corners of Telengana and Andhra. To start with the company aims to sell 60,000 MT of TMT re-bars by next two fiscals in both the states.

Sending message on the occasion of launch, Shri Lalit Beriwala, Director, Shyam Steel,

said “We are delighted to partner with Astik Suppliers to start our retail business operations in two most prominent south Indian states, Telengana & Andhra Pradesh. Both the states have fabulous growth opportunities, for a responsible and quality conscious brand like ours. We are hopeful to mark double digit growth within the next two fiscal years”.

At present, Shyam Steel is a celebrated brand across the country with many approved

projects, both from central and state governments. In retail segment, Shyam Steel started its

operations in West Bengal. Later, Shyam Steel India created deep-rooted distributor and

retail network in major Indian states like Bihar, North East, Odisha, UP and Jharkhand. The

company is creating stories around the country. To start the association with Mr. Sonu, an

E-Rickshaw distribution campaign ‘Khud Kamaao Ghar Chalaao’, is initiated in various

parts of India to help people who lost their livelihood due to nationwide lockdown.
