Serving the Nation Means Serving the People – MLC Malka Komaraiah

Hyderabad, 10th October, 2025: “Honoring those who have rendered dedicated service to the nation and society, bringing recognition to India and Telangana at the international level, inspires us all,” said MLC Malka Komaraiah.

As part of the “Seva Paksha – 2025” initiative launched to mark the birthday celebrations of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, a special Felicitation Ceremony for Distinguished Personalities was organized at the Delhi Public School – Cambridge Auditorium, Nacharam. The event was attended by MLC Malka Komaraiah and BJP State President N. Ramchander Rao.

During the ceremony, eminent achievers from various fields were felicitated, including Padma Shri awardees Chintala Venkata Reddy, Alampur Saibaba Goud, Chintakindi Mallesham; Arjuna Awardee Anup Kumar Yama; Lt. Col. Dr. N. Sheshagiri Rao (Retd.); Group Captain K. Sai Suman (Retd.); Former IPS Officer Tota Murali Krishna; Orthopaedic Surgeon Dr. Dasharatha Ramireddy; Gastroenterologist Dr. B. Ravishankar; India’s first female flutist Jayaprada Ramamurthy; Spiritual Scholar Dr. Anantalakshmi; and Basketball Coach B. Harikrishna Prasad.

Speaking on the occasion, MLC Malka Komaraiah said:

Under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, every sector in India is achieving new recognition. The government’s unique initiative of honoring contributors from education, healthcare, sports, industry, and arts with national awards such as Padma and Arjuna Awards is truly commendable.”

He added,

“During the Seva Paksha campaign, over 28,000 people across the state registered for blood donation, of whom 26,000 successfully donated blood. With initiatives like Viksit Bharat, Atmanirbhar Bharat, and Make in India, the Modi government aims to make India the number one nation globally. The New Education Policy is bringing a revolutionary transformation in the Indian education system, and I am confident that India will emerge as a brand ambassador to the world.”

BJP State President N. Ramchander Rao stated:

“Recognizing and honoring those who have contributed to society is a core value of the Modi government. Politics is not just about elections; political leaders must also be devoted to public and national service. Service to humanity is service to divinity. Serving the nation means serving the people.
