New Delhi, August 12, 2026: Kkhavo, a new premium health and nutrition brand, has announced its launch in India with a focus on authentic, responsibly sourced and nutritionally relevant foods. The brand aims to combine India’s traditional food heritage with modern expectations of nutrition, transparency, quality and preventive wellness.

Kkhavo is developing a portfolio of clean-label and heritage foods, with an emphasis on traceable sourcing, direct farmer relationships, responsible agricultural practices and stringent quality controls. Beginning with heritage grains, the company plans to expand into premium foods, functional foods and nutraceuticals.
The brand’s first product is premium Kala Namak rice, a GI-registered heritage grain cultivated for more than 2,500 years in Uttar Pradesh’s Terai region. The rice is known for its distinctive aroma, soft texture and nutty flavour. The naturally aged grain is positioned as one of India’s indigenous rice varieties.
According to the company, Kala Namak rice has a low glycemic index of 49–53 and is rich in iron and zinc. It also contains antioxidants and dietary fibre and is naturally gluten-free, non-GMO and vegan. Kkhavo said the product is intended to make nutrient-rich heritage foods more accessible to consumers while promoting healthier and informed food choices.
Transparency is a key part of Kkhavo’s business model. The company said it provides detailed information on nutritional composition and quality parameters, backed by extensive testing. More than 250 quality and nutritional tests were conducted on its first product covering aspects such as purity, safety and nutritional profile.
“Consumers today want greater clarity about the food they bring into their homes,” said Mudit Goel, co-founder, Kkhavo. He said the company’s commitment to transparency would remain central as it expands into other food categories.
Founded by Mudit and Mnal Goel, Kkhavo draws on the founders’ ancestral roots in the Kala Namak cultivation region. The company also brings more than two decades of experience in international markets and long-standing relationships with farming communities. Its integrated farm-to-mill supply chain includes direct farm sourcing, in-family milling and quality monitoring at various stages to ensure authenticity and consistency.
Kkhavo’s premium Kala Namak rice is available through leading e-commerce platforms, including Amazon, Blinkit and Flipkart, besides select retail stores and the company’s online platform. The product is offered in 1 kg and 5 kg packs, with the 1 kg pack priced from ₹370.
The company plans to expand its online and offline presence and introduce a wider range of premium health and nutrition products in the coming period.
