ICSI Inaugurates New Hyderabad Chapter Building in Khairatabad

Hyderabad, August 23, 2026: The Institute of Company Secretaries of India (ICSI) inaugurated the new building of its Hyderabad Chapter at Anandnagar Colony, Khairatabad, marking a significant milestone in strengthening the Institute’s professional and educational presence in Telangana.

The approximately 10,200-sq-ft, five-storey building, comprising four floors and a stilt floor, has been developed at a project outlay of approximately ₹10 crore. The facility will provide enhanced infrastructure for professional education, training, examinations, meetings, capacity-building programmes and other activities of the ICSI Hyderabad Chapter.

Addressing a press conference on the occasion, CS Pawan G Chandak, National President, ICSI, said the new facility would provide a stronger platform for the growing community of Company Secretaries and students in Hyderabad and Telangana. He added that the new infrastructure would enable the Hyderabad Chapter to undertake a wider range of professional, educational and stakeholder-engagement initiatives.

Highlighting the growing reach of the profession, Mr. Chandak said that ICSI currently has around 80,600 members and 2.5 lakh students across India. The Hyderabad Chapter has approximately 2,300 members and 3,000 students.

He further said that ICSI has 77 chapters across India, of which 15 are located in South India. Of these 15 chapters, 13 have their own land and buildings, reflecting the Institute’s continued investment in creating permanent professional infrastructure.

Mr. Chandak also said that ICSI is planning to expand its international presence, with a European Union Centre likely to be established in the Netherlands.
