Hyderabad, April 13th 2023 : The Hyderabad International Jewellery Show (HIJS) 2023, an exclusive jewellery sourcing and trading event to facilitate interaction between all those dealing in South Indian jewellery, will be held this year at the Hitex Exhibition Centre in Hyderabad from 19 th -21 st May, 2023.
HIJS is organised by United Exhibitions (UE), a leading professional exhibition organiser and
the show is supported by all the leading jewellery trade associations from across South
India. This show will help to connect leading manufacturers from across the country all kinds
of jewellery retailers from across the South Indian states.
The show is timed to enable the retailers complete their preparations by placing orders for
the Wedding and Festive season this year and source the latest and best designs in South
Indian jewellery right from their doorstep instead of travelling to distant cities like Chennai,
Mumbai etc which makes it difficult for small & medium retailers to travel there and explore the market for the right stock at the right price. HIJS is an ideal platform for all jewellery retailers to network with finest manufacturers and wholesalers from across the dealing in the goods relevant to the South Indian Markets.
HIJS is expected to have over 400 exhibitors with 1,000+ booths spread over 1,50,000 sq ft
of exhibition space. Together, an estimated 20,00,000 jewellery designs will be showcased
covering a wide array of choices. The products will be across gold, diamond, and silver
jewellery, as well as loose gemstones. Jewellery equipment used in the manufacturing
process and the latest technology & software solutions used in the jewellery industry are

significance has increased in recent years. In addition to the size of the local market and its
significant growth as a result of rapid industrialisation and urbanisation, plus the
announcement by the Telangana government making jewellery one of the 14 thrust sectors
under the industrial policy has pushed it into the spotlight. It is expected that Hyderabad will
strengthen its position as a premium destination for jewellery sourcing in the near future &
HIJS aims to help in consolidation of this process. Shri V.K. Manoj, Project Director of
