Hyderabad, 03rd May, 2023: Sri Mohammed Mahmood Ali, Hon’ble Minister for Home, Prisons&Fire Services distributed the Hybiz.tv Media Awards 2023 at the HICC, Novotel Hyderabad here today. This year’s Legend Advertisement award went to Sri Anil Kumar who is a veteran in the media industry, with over 38 years of experience across Print, Radio, Outdoor, Events, and Digital media.
The Legend English Media awardwent to Sri DasuKesava Rao who has nurtured several eminent journalists before retiring as Deputy Editor-Chief of Bureau, The Hindu, Hyderabad, in October 2005.
Sri Emani Krishna Rao received LegendAwardunder the Electronic Media category. He has over 30 years of cross-functional experience in Journalism, Public Relations, Corporate Communications, and Media Management. He has extensive experience as a Bureau Chief with Doordarshan.
Awards (other than Legends) under Print Journalism, English & Telugu and other languages, Print advertisement in English and Telugu & Other languages, Electronic Journalism, Electronic Advertisement, and Digital media were handed over. Reporters from both print and electronic media in English, Telugu & Other languages, Photographers, Videographers, advertisements, Digital Team members, and Anchors from various publications and news channels received the awards.
The Home Minister said that the Telangana government under the leadership of Shri K Chandrashekar Rao has accorded high priority to the welfare of journalists in the state. “So far the government has released Rs 42 crore for thewelfare of scribes. I am happy that Hybiz.tv is giving away awards to Journalists and scholarships to the meritorious children of Journalist families,” he noted. “It is said pen is mightier than the sword.That is why journalists must highlight truth,” Member of Parliament (Chevella)) Dr.G.Ranjith Reddy said addingthat Hybiz.tv under its MD M Rajgopal has withstood intense pressure and succeeded in the media field.
Hybiz.tv and its CSR Initiative
This year under its ongoing Social Responsibility initiative Hybiz.tv also announced ten scholarships worth Rs 25,000 each to children of media families who are studious but require financial assistance. Resonance Junior Colleges with IIT-JEE, NEET has come forward to give these scholarships to the hard-working students selected from more than 50 applications
