Grand Celebration of the 16th Annual Day by Trailokya Arts Association

Hyderabad, 4th May 2025: Trailokya Arts Association, a premier Kuchipudi dance institution, celebrated its 16th Annual Day on May 3rd, 2025, at Ravindra Bharathi with grandeur, elegance, and cultural richness. The event was a spectacular convergence of classical tradition, youthful talent, and disciplined training.


A Dazzling Display of TalentOver 130 students of the institution performed across various classical dance formats, captivating the audience with their poise and artistry. The centerpiece of the evening was the dance drama “Narayana Te Namo Namo”, noted for its emotional depth, refined choreography, and spiritual narrative.


Eminent Guests Grace the OccasionThe celebration was graced by Professor Kotla Hanumantha Rao as the Chief Guest. He commended Smt. Indira Parasharam, Director and Guru of Trailokya Arts Association, for her unwavering commitment to the classical arts. In his keynote, Prof. Rao emphasized the need for continuous learning in classical disciplines, highlighting that “Art has no limits.” He praised Smt. Parasharam’s ongoing dedication to refining her skills even after her M.A. in Kuchipudi, under the guidance of Guru Sri Pasumarthi Venkateswara Sharma.


Renowned storyteller and life coach Smt. Rama Ravi appreciated the students’ performances, particularly their discipline and the supportive mentorship seen between senior and junior dancers—hallmarks of the institution's structured training.


Kuchipudi maestro and Bismillah Khan Awardee, Sri Vedantam Venkata Naga Chalapathi, delivered an inspiring address urging students to stay persistent in their practice. “Art is not just performance—it’s a way of life,” he noted, drawing from his own experiences.


Other distinguished guests included Smt. Sudhamal (Kuchipudi Guru) and Sri Ram Kumar Kashyap (Principal, Neelakantha Vidyapeeth), who commended the cultural efforts of the institution and emphasized the positive role of arts in students' personal and academic growth.


A Guru’s Pride and GratitudeIn her address, Smt. Indira Parasharam expressed immense pride in her students, applauding their ability to balance academic excellence with artistic dedication. “Today, our children proved that the arts are no barrier to academics,” she said. She extended heartfelt thanks to parents for their unwavering support and to the senior students for nurturing the juniors with care and mentorship.


The 16th Annual Day marked yet another milestone in Trailokya Arts Association’s journey of fostering classical art, inspiring excellence, and nurturing the next generation of cultural torchbearers.
