Food A Fair 2025 Begins at HITEX, Hyderabad

Hyderabad, 14th November 2025: Hyderabad should excel not only in IT and Pharma but also as the food capital known for its delicious cuisines, said State IT and Industries Minister Sridhar Babu. On Friday, the Minister inaugurated the Food A Fair 2025 food and beverages exhibition held at HITEX, Madhapur.

Speaking on the occasion, he said Telangana is famous for its wide variety of traditional dishes such as biryani, Irani chai, haleem, sarva pindi, and sakinalu. He emphasized the need to take these dishes to the global stage and increase their recognition.

Badminton coach Pullela Gopichand said the exhibition will help widely promote Telangana cuisine and millet-based foods. State Seed Development Corporation Chairman Anvesh Reddy, Indian Institute of Millets Research Director Dr. Kunnara, Tara Satyavathi, and others participated.

In another hall, Minister Sridhar Babu also inaugurated the flooring products exhibition titled G-Floor Expo 2025.
