Hyderabad 19th, 2020: Medicover Global, a leading healthcare and diagnostic services provider from Europe, has launched a 250-beds hospital in Nellore.
With this Medicover Global has all set its plans to further expand its base in the Telugu states of Andhra Pradesh and Telanana and very soon is planning to add 1000 more beds through establishing new facilities in various cities like Hyderabad, Vishakhapatnam and Srikakulam by end of the year 2020.
The Group will further expand its operations in the coastal town with setting up of “Medicover Oncology Institute” (MOI), a 100-beds cancer cure facility. Present on the occasion were Mr. Fredrik Ragmark, CEO, Medicover Global; Mr. Joe Ryan, CFO, Medicover Global; Mr. John Stubbington, COO-Healthcare Services, Medicover Global; and Dr. Anil Krishna, Chairman, Medicover India.
India has emerged as a focal point to Medicover Global’s international business and will continue to invest into this fast-growing market. The Group has to date invested Rs 700 crore in the form of debt and equity; and has committed another Rs 300 crore towards upcoming projects, including MOI facility in Nellore.

Medicover currently operates in Hyderabad, Kurnool, Visakhapatnam, in addition to Nellore. The Group is in talks to acquire a 500-beds hospital in Hyderabad; and is in the process of adding another 500-beds in Andhra Pradesh, by setting up a 200-beds unit in Visakhapatnam, and a 300-beds facility in Srikakulam.
