Ethiopian Airlines Launches New Passenger Service to Hyderabad, Expanding Its Footprint in India

Hyderabad, June 17, 2025 : Ethiopian Airlines, Africa’s largest and one of the world’s fastest-growing airline brands, has officially launched a new passenger service to Hyderabad, India, further strengthening its global network. The inaugural flight was flagged off with a vibrant ceremony held at Addis Ababa Bole International Airport, graced by senior government officials, ambassadors, aviation dignitaries, and other special guests.

The new service, effective June 16, 2025, will operate three times a week, offering greater connectivity between Africa and India. The flight schedule is as follows:

• ET 682 Addis Ababa (ADD) ➝ Hyderabad (HYD) – Monday, Wednesday, Saturday

• ET 683 Hyderabad (HYD) ➝ Addis Ababa (ADD) – Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday

Speaking at the launch, Mr. Mesfin Tasew, Group CEO of Ethiopian Airlines, stated:

With the inclusion of Hyderabad, the airline reinforces its role as a bridge between Africa and South Asia, catering to increasing travel and commercial demands.
