Creative Multimedia wins coveted national award.Launches Telugu edition of popular Career Guide


Hyderabad 1st September 2022: Students of Creative Multimedia - Hyderabad proved their mettle as India’s best-trained Animation talent, bagging a string of prestigious awards at leading national competitions. At the recent competition organized by Mumbai-based Animation Xpress, the animation short film ‘Power of Change’ by Creative Multimedia student Hari Prasad won the Best Short Film Award.


This film has been attracting many awards at other national competitions including ASIFA Awards of Excellence, Chitrabharathi Film Festival Award, Babul Ecofilm Festival Award, and Pixellence Awards.This short film produced using the technique of stop motion animation has also won many cash prizes in addition to a string of awards.


Another short film ‘On the way’ by Creative Multimedia student Ram Sardar won the second prize at the competition organized by TSRTC recently. Ram received a Certificate of Appreciation along with a Cash Prize of Rs. 5000 from TSRTC M.D. Sajjanar for his outstanding work. Other short films created by Ram have also been creating waves in the international short film circuit.


Launch of Telugu Career Guide

Smt. Kavita Daryani Rao, Vice Chancellor of Jawaharlal Nehru Architecture and Fine Arts University (JNAFAU) launched the Telugu edition of the book ‘Exciting Careers in Digital Media’ (The English edition was earlier launched by Hon’ble Minister Sri K.T. Rama Rao garu in November last year). The author of the book Rajasekhar Buggaveeti who is also the founder of Creative Multimedia said that the new edition introduced for the convenience of Telugu students and parents is available at all leading book stores, on the Amazon platform, and also at the Dilsukhnagar office of the publisher.


Launch of VFX short film

‘Oh No’ a visual effects (VFX) short film created by students was launched by Rajat Ojha, CEO of Gamitronics. The film is a collaborative effort of 25 students from Creative Multimedia. All these students have already received job offers from leading companies through Creative Multimedia’s campus placements program


A Press Meet organized by Creative Multimedia at JNAFAU witnessed the participation of Creative Multimedia Founder RajaSekhar Buggaveeti, University Vice Chancellor Smt. Kavita Daryani Rao, Registrar Sundar Kumar, and Gamitronics CEO Rajat Ojha.


Speaking on the occasion, Smt. Kavita Daryani Rao congratulated the students who won awards. She complimented the author for elaborating on 72 different job roles in the digital media industry and for producing an informative guide.
