Chevella MP Konda Vishweshwar Reddy Visits Sonkul Agro Industries Pvt. Ltd. Stall at Startup Conclave Hyderabad 2025

Hyderabad, April 23, 2025: Shri Konda Vishweshwar Reddy, Hon’ble Member of Parliament (BJP) from Chevella constituency, visited the exhibition stall of Sonkul Agro Industries Pvt. Ltd. (www.bioorganic.co.in) during the Startup Conclave Hyderabad 2025. The event was jointly hosted by CSIR-IICT, CSIR-CCMB, and CSIR-NGRI under the “Startup India, Stand Up India” initiative envisioned by the Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi to promote innovation and strengthen the country’s startup ecosystem.

The two-day conclave, held on April 22–23 at the Zaheer Memorial School Ground within the CSIR-IICT campus, provided a platform for startups, researchers, investors, industry leaders, and policymakers to engage in discussions and collaborations aimed at innovation-led growth.

Shri Reddy was warmly welcomed by Dr. Vivek Savade, head of Pheromone Development R&D, and Mr. Mahesh Sonkul, CEO of Sonkul Agro Industries Pvt. Ltd. During his visit, the MP showed keen interest in the company’s advanced pheromone-based pest control solutions. These eco-friendly technologies help manage crop pests without the use of chemical pesticides, thereby supporting the production of residue-free food, safeguarding farmer health, and preserving the agro-ecosystem.

The Hon’ble MP commended the company’s dedication to sustainable agriculture and expressed enthusiasm for the role such innovations can play in transforming Indian farming. He also extended an invitation for a personal meeting to explore possible collaborations and joint initiatives.
