Aruna Vuthaluru Honored for Outstanding Contributions to Yoga and Cultural Arts

Hyderabad, June 22, 2025 – Renowned yoga expert and cultural ambassador Aruna Vuthaluru was honored with the Global Yoga–Health Care Icon Award 2025 at a prestigious ceremony organized by SAUMITHMEDIA and the MOARD Foundation, held in Hyderabad on Sunday evening.
A certified Advanced International Yoga Teacher and Evaluator by the Yoga Certification Board, Ministry of AYUSH, Government of India, Aruna has over 25 years of personal yoga practice and has been professionally teaching since 2018. Her yoga journey includes 8 impactful years in Muscat, Oman, where she conducted numerous wellness sessions, community workshops, and volunteer programs.
During the COVID-19 pandemic, she led online yoga classes for nearly 800 participants across 20 countries, ensuring their physical and mental well-being. As part of Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav, Aruna initiated a 21-day yoga challenge, enabling participants to earn certification from the Ministry of AYUSH.
Her contributions have extended to the USA and multiple states across India, with over 10,000 hours of teaching experience. Her unwavering commitment to health, harmony, and inner awareness has touched thousands of lives globally.
