Hyderabad: 17th June, 2025: The Association of Consulting Civil Engineers (India) [ACCE (I)], Hyderabad Centre is set to organize a Two-Day National Conference on ‘Next-Gen Highrise Buildings – Advancements in Composite and Steel Structures’ on July 11th and 12th, 2025, at the ESCI Campus, Centenary Convention Centre, Gachibowli, Hyderabad.

This landmark event is expected to host over 800 participants from across India, representing various regions and sectors within the construction and infrastructure industry. More than 14 eminent speakers will share expert insights and discuss innovations shaping the future of high-rise construction.

The conference aims to drive dialogue on sustainable, resilient, and technologically advanced urban infrastructure, with a special focus on composite and steel systems in tall buildings. Topics will include smart infrastructure, climate-conscious design, digital construction tools, green building norms, and disaster-resilient systems — all essential for meeting the demands of rapid urban vertical growth.

Speaking on this occasion, Mr. Rajkumar Kacharla, President South, Vice President, ACCE(I), said, “We are not just constructing buildings—we are crafting a sustainable legacy for generations to come. This conference is a testament to how the civil engineering fraternity is stepping forward to redefine urban growth with resilience, innovation, and responsibility. The conference will feature insightful sessions on smart infrastructure and urban resilience, along with in-depth discussions on climate-conscious design, digital tools, and green construction norms. It brings together industry pioneers, civil engineers, architects, and decision-makers to explore advancements shaping the skylines of urban India. Looking forward to lively and interactive sessions to shape the future of urban infrastructure in India.”

Adding to this, Mr Er. Kashiram Adepu, governing council member and immediate past chairman, ACCE (I) Hyderabad Centre, said, “ The rapid growth of the urban regions and also tier I and tier II cities is forcing vertical growth in these centres. The civil engineering fraternity needs to continuously upgrade and stay in line with the best practices being followed for strong, stable, and sustainable high-rise buildings.  This conference will provide the right platform and act as a catalyst to drive engineers, policymakers, and innovators to embrace smarter, safer, and more sustainable building practices that will define our skylines for decades.”

According to Mr. Er. Bheem Rao Jaligama, Vice-Chairman and In-charge Chairman, ACCE(I) Hyderabad Centre, said, “This conference is a vibrant step toward smarter and more sustainable urban development. It encourages engineers to innovate reliably and build with resilience. Together, we are shaping cities that are smart, sustainable, and ready to meet tomorrow’s challenges.”

Addressing the gathering, Er. C. Ramesh, Hon. Secretary, ACCE(I) said,“This platform fosters collaboration and knowledge-sharing within the engineering community. It drives innovation while reinforcing the latest research and sustainable development.”

ACCE (I) Hyderabad invites professionals, builders, engineers, students, and media to be a part of this transformative journey that merges innovation with responsibility. Delegate registration is now open, with special early-bird discounts available until June 25, 2025. Concession rates apply for ACCE (I) members, INSTRUCT members, supporting organisations, and students (limited to the first 100 student registrations). All fees are inclusive of 18% GST.
