Ideabox Season 2 winners announced


Hyderabad, 2nd March, 2022: Ideabox Season 2… a contest that invites participants to submit any new business ideas, concluded the season 2on the 2nd of March, 2022 with prize distribution and recognizing all the winners of the contest at BHub, Lumbini Jewel Mall, Banjara Hills. The contest was initially held online throughout November, December and January. Students, employees, homemakers, self-employed professionals, entrepreneurs and many others who had ideas that can make a difference, participated in the contest enthusiastically. Ideas were scrutinized in three rounds based on their business viability, uniqueness, novelty and thoroughness. After three rounds, the final winners were announced.


Vamsi, Bhargava Ramaiah & Dasaradha Ramaiah, a team of students from KL University (Guntur) won the first prize for their unique idea which is currently at a prototype development stage. The second prize was awarded to Sanjaiy and Team from Chennai and the third prize was awarded to Venkata Ramana, Vamsi, Manikanta and Ramesh from Amalapuram. Six more participants from Hyderabad, Chennai & East Godavari won special prizes. Almost twenty ideas are now being pursued for incubation or investment.


Mr. Ajit Rangnekar (Director General at Research and Innovation Circle of Hyderabad) graced the occasion and stressed on the requirement of the current generation to pursue entrepreneurship. He spoke to the students and participants explaining the key qualities that are looked for in an idea that investors would look at. The company’s directors Kiran Babu, Sanjana Shah, KVT Ramesh, Sunil Sethia, Srikar Kanda, Vishal Desai were present.


The participants logged into www.ideaboxglobal.com and submitted their ideas. This website is open for participants throughout the year to submit any ideas they have, irrespective of the contest. The participants will be contacted if their idea has the opportunity to be converted to a business.
